Welcome to Wetherspoons, Terminal 2 - Airside, London Heathrow Airport
Welcome to our website for the JD Wetherspoon pub, situated airside at Terminal 2, London Heathrow Airport. We are open every day of the year from 5am until the last flight of the day, usually 9.30pm/10pm.
We serve hot & cold food and alcohol from opening until close, and also freshly ground Lavazza™, Italy's favourite coffee. We have a variety of freshly made, pre-packed sandwiches, and Danish pastries also.
We have 2 plasma screens, one in each of the
2 main areas, which show Sky News on weekdays, and Sky Sports News at weekends. We also show all terrestrial sport and major television events, and have background music playing continuously. There is a third, smaller balcony area that is not affected by the TV's or music.
We're Cask-Marque accreditted for the standard of real ale that we serve, and usually have 4 well kept ales available. You can learn more about The Cask Marque Trust, and the work they have done to raise the standard of cask-conditioned beer, at http://www.cask-marque.co.uk/.
In the following pages you can learn more about our various menus, and our vast ranges of draught lagers, real ales, bottled beers, wines by the bottle and glass, and soft drinks, etc., as well as information about working with us, either as a bar or kitchen associate, or as a Bar or Kitchen Manager. There are also links to our company website, where you can find out plenty more about JD Wetherspoon plc. and also, Heathrow Airport.
You'll find us on the mezzanine level, just after security, and we can only be visited by passengers leaving the country. And now we're 100% non-smoking throughout.
Most flights from Terminal 2 go
to main European cities, and as such we are very popular with football fans flying to Champions League, and UEFA Cup games, as well as England fans flying to International games. In fact, during the 2006 World Cup in Germany, we organised a raffle to coincide with the event, and raised £2,000 for our nominated charity, CLIC Sargent. Many thanks to everyone who bought a ticket. As well as football, we are also popular with rugby fans flying to the 6 - Nations, Heineken Cup, etc, which always helps to aid the atmosphere in the pub.
While you're here, please take the time to vote in our poll. Do you support the impending smoking ban in England, which comes in to effect on July 1st 2007? Our countdown shows how long until the ban, which is already in place in the rest of the UK, comes in to effect.
